The machine is based on granite bed, which is ground and lapped. There are two slides, the left includes rotations table for worm gear clamping, optional with clamping arbor, moving manual. Radial-and axial accuracy  is less then 2 microns.

床身为研磨过的花岗岩。有两个直线轴，左边为蜗轮装夹旋转工作台，选项配备芯轴，手动移动，径向和轴向精度小于2微米。

The right column for worm clamping is moved by hand wheel (X axis). There are located two spindles, with rotary centers. The worm is clamped between centers and driven by motor. All main parts of the column are granite for high accuracy and rigidity. Both spindles for worm clamping are equipped with replaceable rotary hardened centers. The vertical position of worm is adjusted by hand wheel (Y axis). 

右边为蜗杆装夹，使用手轮移动（X轴），上面有两个主轴，带旋转顶尖。蜗杆装在两顶尖之间，由电机驱动。主要部件都是高精度高刚性花岗岩。蜗杆装夹顶尖为加硬可替换。蜗杆竖直位置可以通过手轮调节（Y轴）。

When the worm is clamped, mutual position of centers can be locked and moved together by hand wheel for transverse position of worm. The position is indicated by digital encoder. This function is necessary especially for duplex and double enveloping worms.  

安装蜗杆后，顶尖可以锁住，通过手轮可以整体移动蜗杆的位置。编码器可以数显该位置。该功能是必要的，尤其对于双导程，双包络线蜗杆时。

The measuring speed is controlled by software and driven by servo drive.
